The Vantage Pro2 is engineered to provide research-grade data with exceptional precision. Its sensors are calibrated to deliver accurate readings for temperature, humidity, wind, and rainfall, even in extreme conditions.
The sensor suite is built to withstand the elements, from scorching heat to freezing cold, heavy rain, and strong winds. Its rugged construction ensures years of dependable performance with minimal maintenance.
The anemometer can be mounted up to 40 feet (12 meters) away from the main sensor suite, allowing you to position it in an optimal location for accurate wind measurements, such as atop a pole or roof.
The sensor suite operates on solar power with a 3-volt CR123 lithium battery backup, ensuring continuous operation even during extended cloudy periods or at night. The battery typically lasts several years, depending on solar charging conditions.
